Description
Château de la Gardine is a family-owned winery with a rich history dating back to the 17th century. It is famous for its unique asymmetrical bottles discovered during excavations, which have become the winery's trademark since the 1960s.
The site impresses with panoramic views of the Alpilles mountains, Avignon and the Rhone River. A unique terroir consisting of three types of soil: quartz pebbles, red clay and limestone, gives the wines complexity and high quality.
The winery produces a range of wines, including reds and whites from Châteauneuf-du-Pape, Rasteau and Lirac, focusing on four main grape varieties: Grenache, Syrah, Mourvèdre and Muscardin.
