Description
Cave Hill Country Park is a scenic park with five caves along cliffs that were formerly iron mines. The site is famous for its distinctive 'Napoleon's Nose' hill, which is said to have inspired Jonathan Swift to write Gulliver's Travels.
The park offers a variety of hiking trails of varying levels of difficulty, including Cavehill Trail (4.5 miles), Estate Trail (2.4 miles) and Castle Trail (0.8 miles). The area also features the prehistoric McArt's Fort located 368 meters above sea level.
For children, there is the Cave Hill Adventurous Playground with swings, slides and a climbing wall.
