Brdo Castle

Grad Brdo is a Renaissance gem dating back to 1510, surrounded by a vast 478-hectare park. Once the summer residence of the Yugoslav royal family and a favorite place of Josip Broz Tito, today it delights visitors with its combination of history and nature.

The interiors feature Slovenian sculptures, paintings, crystal chandeliers, and an impressive library. The park is 'Slovenia in miniature'—with Lipizzaner horses, painted beehives, and picturesque ponds, it is ideal for weekend walks amid wild nature and architecture.
