Camino Natural de Fuerteventura

Camino Natural de Fuerteventura is a scenic walking trail that runs across the island from north to south.

The route passes through a variety of landscapes, from semi-desert areas to volcanic formations to beaches with turquoise waters. Along the way you can admire golden sand dunes, rock formations made of solidified lava, and visit quaint villages like Vega de Rio Palmas.

The trail passes through several protected areas, including Islote de Lobos Natural Park and Jandía Natural Park, where endemic plant and bird species can be found. For history buffs, an attraction is the Sacred Mountain of Tindaya with its prehistoric rock carvings.
