Ca' Pesaro

Ca' Pesaro is a magnificent Baroque marble palace on the Canal Grande in Venice that impresses not only with its architecture.

Inside hides the International Gallery of Modern Art with an impressive collection of 19th and 20th century works. Here you can admire masterpieces by such masters as Gustav Klimt, Marc Chagall and Wassily Kandinsky.

On the third floor is the Museum of Oriental Art with some 30,000 exhibits, mainly from the Edo period in Japan, as well as works from China and Indonesia. The museum's completely redesigned layout provides a fascinating journey through the history of art.
