Description
Brink of the Upper Falls is a spectacular viewpoint offering a unique view of the 33-meter waterfall, where the Yellowstone River plunges into the Grand Canyon.
A short, 400-meter trail leads to a viewing platform located right at the edge of the waterfall. Here, you can feel the power of the falling water and admire the rainbows dancing in the afternoon sun. The waterfall was formed at the junction of resistant rhyolite lava and more easily eroded glassy lava, creating a dramatic start to the canyon.
