Description
The Grodzka (Jewish) Gate in Lublin is one of the city's most important historical monuments. Built in 1342 with the permission of King Casimir the Great, it served as a passage between the Old Town and the Jewish quarter, which gave it the nickname 'Jewish Gate'.
Today it houses the 'Grodzka Gate - NN Theater' Center, which preserves the memory of Lublin's Jewish history through exhibitions and educational projects.
It is a unique place where you can experience the city's multicultural past and learn about the fate of its inhabitants through multimedia exhibitions and personal stories.
