Description
Belvedere di Punta Cannone is one of the most beautiful viewpoints on Capri. The name comes from 1808, when French troops placed defensive cannons here to observe the area.
The place is also known as 'Malerplatte' (painter's canvas) because in the 19th century German artists set up their easels here to capture the breathtaking landscape.
From this magical point you can enjoy a panoramic view of the town of Capri, the Augusta Gardens, the famous Faraglioni rocks, Via Krupp and Marina Piccola. It is the perfect place for nature lovers, photographers and anyone who appreciates beautiful views.
