Description
The Fisherman's Tower is one of Budapest's most distinctive landmarks, resembling a logo from Disney movies, although it is older and more beautiful than that.
Built between 1895 and 1902 in Neo-Gothic and Neo-Romanesque styles, it offers breathtaking views of the Danube River and the Parliament building. The seven towers symbolize the seven Hungarian tribes that settled in the area in 895.
It's a magical place, perfect for a romantic stroll or a family outing. The lower parts of the bastion are accessible free of charge, and the upper terraces provide the best panoramic view of the city.
