Balmoral

Balmoral is a historic royal estate with a rich tradition dating back to 1390. Built in the Scottish Baroque and Gothic styles, this majestic castle impresses with its 80-foot clock tower and impressive architecture made of local granite.

The estate encompasses 21,725 acres of diverse landscaping - from parks and woodlands to an arboretum and formal gardens. Although most of the castle remains private, the ballroom is open to the public.

The site is closely associated with the British royal family, particularly Queen Elizabeth II, who spent summers here.
