Haus des Meeres

Haus des Meeres is an unusual aquarium housed in a former World War II anti-aircraft tower.

More than 10,000 aquatic and terrestrial animals, including sharks, stingrays, turtles, lizards, snakes, monkeys and bats, can be seen on 11 floors.

Special attractions include a 300,000-liter shark tank and interactive experiences with QR codes. There is a 360° Ocean Sky restaurant on the roof with panoramic views of Vienna, and an exhibition on the 10th floor about the tower's history during the war.
