Redfern Park

Redfern Park is a historic park in the heart of Sydney that combines historic charm with modern design. Renovated in 2007-2009, it delights with rare species of Australian rainforest vegetation and exotic palm trees that remember the early 20th century.

The mature fig trees surrounding the park are from original plantings dating back to around 1886, creating a picturesque setting. The park offers children's playgrounds, sports facilities and art installations inspired by Aboriginal culture.

It is an ideal place for both active recreation and relaxation amidst lush greenery.
