The Astor Theatre

The Astor Theatre is a historic single-screen cinema that has been in operation since 1936. Designed in the Jazz Moderne style, it is a rare example of cinema architecture that has survived to the present day.

This unique building has preserved the traditional layout of the two-level auditorium, which can now accommodate 1,100 people. The interior was once illuminated by neon lights creating a rainbow effect, now replaced by soft golden light.
