Anya Nura2 months agoKinda cute, but probably not the best idea to portray Mozart and acknowledge his talent. But I guess it could be just my personal opinion
Alessia T7 years agoThis was an unexpected find and a beautiful tribute to the musical legend who stands on a clavichord in a corner of the square. It was interesting to learn that Mozart came to live in Brno as a child during the smallpox epidemic in Vienna and played in the concert hall which is now the site of the Reduta Theatre (behind the statue). I don't know if it's true, but I read in a tour guide (Use-It Map for young travellers made by locals) that the reason Mozart only has one angel wing in the statue is to symbolise his tragic end from syphilis (or Salieri).
