Description

The Ton Sai Waterfall is a captivating natural attraction in the heart of Phuket. Cascading streams of water running down rock terraces create crystal clear ponds, perfect for cooling off on hot days.

Surrounding the waterfall, a shady organic garden with trees over 100 years old creates a unique atmosphere of tranquility.

It's a nature lover's paradise - rare species of birds and plants can be seen here, including the unique white palm trees, which were first discovered right here in Thailand. Well-marked hiking trails lead to viewpoints offering breathtaking perspectives.

avatarNaomi Aust3 weeks agoSuch a beautiful spot. We were the only ones there when we visited, which made it feel even more special. The walk in was stunning, with butterflies everywhere, interesting insects, colourful fungi, and towering trees. The waterfalls were lovely and the water was crystal clear. We even spotted a turtle and a few bright red crabs. The trail was narrow in places and we had to climb over and under a few vines and logs, which added to the adventure and made it even more fun. We absolutely loved it. A magical place and a perfect escape from the hustle and bustle of Phuket. One of the few untouched natural gems left on the island.
avatarIgor Dvorov (PhuketON)3 months agoA beautiful, small waterfall is located 100 meters from the parking lot surrounded by wild nature. The territory has a large number of: wild plants; trees and vines; on which you can swing, like on a swing. There are many: wild animals; reptiles; insects; spiders; leeches and other creatures - you need to carefully look around and under your feet. Ton Sai is located on the territory of the Khao Phra Thaeo National Park, - so the territory here is quite large. For lovers of trekking in the jungle, this place can be good in terms of physical activity. * When visiting this attraction, you need to stock up on water, repellents and have comfortable shoes best time to visit: June - October entrance: 200 baht (gives the right to visit the Bang Pae waterfall) Full information with video and easy navigation - in the application 👉 PHUKETON
avatarOlivia Hood2 months agoNot very accessible if looking to do the full walk! I arrived in the morning via taxi hoping to be able to walk the jungle by myself but had a look at the track aware of snakes and decided to ask for a guide - which turns out apparently you have to have! I got a fantastic ranger as a guide who shared knowlege about the forest and spotted a few snakes that I wouldn’t have noticed otherwise… Very glad to have the guide. 1500baht for one way - so if you plan to do the full track from Ton Sai waterfall to the Gibbon centre don’t bring your own vehicle! They offer a 900baht option for a 3km loop that returns to Tin Sai waterfall, however, and this would probably be enough to see some wildlife. The track itself isn’t so much overgrown (I’ve been in far worse) but there are a lot of false leads so I highly recommend getting a guide - super helpful and you learn some local knowledge too! It was about 6km and took 2-2.5 hours with just myself and a guide. There’s some waterholes along the way too so bring your bathers! Overall, a fantastic experience. But I had a nightmare with taxi prices to and from seeing as I was staying in Phuket Town. I don’t know what other option there would be for the one way trek.
