Description
Vodopád v doline Červené Piesky is a picturesque waterfall located in the heart of Slovak nature. Delightful with cascades of crystal clear water flowing down among lush vegetation and spectacular rock formations.
Hiking trails leading to the waterfall are well-marked and accessible to both walkers and more experienced hikers. It is advisable to bring comfortable trekking shoes and a camera to capture the beauty of this place.
The area delights with its abundance of nature and variation of colors depending on the season, especially in autumn, when the colorful leaves contrast with the blue of the water.

Mih Kan5 months agoBeautiful waterfall, partially frozen when we visited it. One and a half hours easy walk from the parking lot to the waterfall. Parking is paid 3 euro per day.
Maciej Dolny3 weeks agoThe waterfall is fantastic, a great place for a hike, especially since it's accessible via a nice (and challenging) trail (the blue trail from Prosiek). After a very rainy week, the ascent was demanding, with multiple crossings of the swollen river, but the final view was worth the effort. I highly recommend it.
