Description
Trümmelbach is Europe's largest underground waterfall, fed by water from the melting Eiger, Mönch and Jungfrau glaciers.
This remarkable natural phenomenon carries up to 20,000 liters of water per second and transports more than 20,000 tons of boulders per year! Thanks to a system of tunnels, elevators, stairs and platforms, you can admire the powerful force of water that has sculpted fantastic rock formations for thousands of years.
An ideal place for nature lovers, photographers and adventurers. The waterfalls are part of the Lauterbrunnen Valley and the UNESCO area Swiss Alps Jungfrau-Aletsch.
