Sztolnia Gertruda

The Gertruda Salt Mine is a fascinating historic gold mine in Zloty Stok, where as much as 16 tons of gold have been mined over nearly a thousand years.

The interior of the adit impresses with impressive geological formations, including an underground waterfall in the Black Adit and well-preserved galleries from the 15th and 16th centuries.

Plenty of activities await: train rides, gold panning, coin minting and gold bar casting. The constant temperature of 7°C maintained throughout the year adds a mysterious atmosphere to the trip.
