Description
Salto de Aguas Blancas is the highest waterfall in the Caribbean, falling from a height of more than 83 meters in two cascades that merge into one spectacular whole.
It is located in the Juan Bautista Pérez Rancier National Park, surrounded by lush pine forests and diverse vegetation. The water falls into a bright green pool, creating a breathtaking view.
Surrounding trekking trails lead through dense vegetation, providing opportunities to observe local fauna, including more than 40 species of birds. The best time to visit the waterfall is early morning or late afternoon, when the sun's rays create a mesmerizing play of colors on the water.
