Description
National Trust - Hughenden is a Victorian estate that was the home of Prime Minister Benjamin Disraeli. The site combines a fascinating history with beautiful gardens and a landscaped park of nearly 1,500 acres.
During World War II, the estate served as a secret intelligence base where aerial photographs of Germany were analyzed. Today you can discover four marked walking trails, a fenced garden and special attractions for children, including a natural playground and Victorian-era costumes.
The estate has a cafe serving home-baked goods and a gift and book store.
