Description
The Heringsdorf pier is a historical gem on the Baltic Sea, being the longest pier in Germany at 508 meters long.
Originally built between 1891 and 1893 and rebuilt after a fire in 1958, it offers unforgettable views of the sea, especially during sunset.
At the end of the pier is a distinctive glass pyramid with a restaurant, and cozy cafes and stores are scattered along the entire structure. The place is also famous for its shell museum, fitness center and turret where lovers leave their love padlocks - perfect for romantic strolls and family vacations.
