Description
Čumil is a charming bronze sculpture depicting a man looking out of a sewer manhole in the heart of Bratislava's Old Town. This iconic figure, whose name means 'watcher,' has become a symbol of the city and one of the most photographed objects in the Slovakian capital.
Created in 1997 by Viktor Hulík, the sculpture has its own unique charm and is surrounded by many local legends. It is said that rubbing his nose brings good luck! The interactive nature of the sculpture makes it appealing to both children and adults.
