Chongqing Hongyadong （Northwest Gate）

Chongqing Hongyadong (Northwest Gate) is a spectacular complex of traditional stilted buildings rising 11 stories along the cliffs above the Jialing River. The ancient city gate from the Warring States period has been transformed into a vibrant cultural and entertainment district.

At night, thousands of lights create a fairytale setting reminiscent of Spirited Away. The complex combines 2,300 years of Ba-Yu culture with modern dining, bars, and craft shops. The observation deck on the 11th floor offers breathtaking panoramic views of the city and the Qiansimen Bridge.
