Birding platform Lake Ptuj

The Ptuj Lake Observation Platform is a unique place for bird and nature lovers. Equipped with a telescope, it allows close encounters with a variety of bird species without disturbing their natural habitat.

It is an ideal place for both beginners and experienced birdwatchers. Surrounding trails encourage walking or cycling among picturesque landscapes.

Lake Ptuj, the largest artificial lake in Slovenia, is home to more than 230 species of birds, including endangered ones. Four artificial islands provide key breeding sites for terns and gulls.
