Description
The 'Astra' Museum Complex is the largest outdoor museum in Europe, located in the picturesque Dumbrava forest. In an area of almost 1 km², you'll discover more than 400 traditional Romanian buildings, including houses, barns, churches and mills.
It's a fascinating journey back in time, where you'll see windmills from the Dobrudja region, ancient bowling alleys, a small mine from the Apuseni Mountains and wooden ferries.
The museum offers interactive workshops and educational programs that will turn an ordinary visit into a multisensory experience. There are special play zones for the little ones, and restaurants and cafes for the thirsty.
