Description
Ashdown Forest is a magical place that inspired A.A. Milne to create the story of Winnie the Pooh. This vast area of about 2,600 hectares offers more than 130 kilometers of walking trails amidst moorland and oak forests.
It's a nature lover's paradise - rare bird species can be found here, including the woodlark and Dartford warbler. The forest has a rich history dating back to Norman times, when it served as a hunting ground.
In the 16th century, England's first great blacksmith shop was established here, a testament to the area's industrial heritage. Discover charming corners that will delight adventurers and literature lovers alike.
