Arctic Cathedral

Arctic Cathedral is a modern church in Tromsø, stunning in its unique architecture reminiscent of the Sydney Opera House.

Its aluminum and concrete structure is a distinctive landmark of the city. The east wall is decorated with a huge 'Return of Christ' mosaic, which changes colors depending on the lighting.

The interior hides an impressive organ with 2,940 pipes, and regular concerts, especially those at midnight sun, attract music lovers from around the world. Inspired by the shape of the nearby island of Håja, it adds to the natural charm of the place.
