Description
Waterfall Alpaca Farm (by appointment only) is a unique attraction in the heart of West Cork where an unforgettable encounter with alpacas and other animals awaits.
The farm offers fascinating walks with alpacas along a scenic riverside trail leading to a beautiful waterfall. Along the way you can admire fields, a young forest and deep ponds.
The site is home not only to alpacas, but also to Soay sheep, rabbits, miniature donkeys, chickens and ducks. There is also a prehistoric Bronze Age stone row on the grounds, which adds to the site's historical charm.

Eva Pedriglieria week agoWhat a special place this farm is! My partner and I were driving through cork and eager to have some experiences in the local farms with animals. We were greeted by Emma and given some history and treats for the girlie Alpacas. Then Marcus helped us through the walk with Ziggy and Cusco 🥰 We thoroughly enjoyed the visit. The land was gorgeous and the animals were friendly and so so sweet. Such a reward!
Jacqui Owena year agoMy daughter and I had the absolute pleasure of staying at Waterfall Alpaca Farm last night. From the moment we arrived Emma made us feel so welcome.
Waterfall Alpaca farm is set in the most spectacularly beautiful location and just has a very special feel about it.
We thoroughly enjoyed getting to meet the animals, from alpacas, donkeys, bunnies, ponies, chickens dogs and a cat. Absolute heaven for any animal lover.
The cabin is very comfortable and cosy, perfect for a getaway. And the silence, well that’s just absolute bliss.
We enjoyed two fabulous walks down along the river and on to the breathtaking waterfall. Our first walk we went exploring on our own and the second, well that was special as we got to take a couple of alpacas with us, accompanied by Marcus. A very special experience I will never forget.
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay, only regret being that it wasn’t for longer. I would have absolutely no hesitation recommending Waterfall Alpaca Farm to anyone.
