Description
Howletts Wild Animal Park is a unique 90-acre park dedicated to protecting endangered animal species.
It is home to more than 390 animals, including the largest herd of African elephants in the UK and one of the largest groups of lowland gorillas in the world.
The park offers interactive experiences such as animal feeding and behind-the-scenes tours, as well as educational programs to promote wildlife conservation. For those seeking additional thrills, the Treetop Challenge, an exciting obstacle course among the trees, is available.

Suzanne Lapiraa week agoWe had a truly amazing time at Howletts Wild Animal Park! It's a fantastic day out and felt very safe and family-friendly, especially for little ones. Our toddler (under 2) was able to run around freely, with plenty of open space and well-maintained paths. There’s a great variety of animals to see, including elephants, which were a real highlight. The park is spacious, clean, and clearly focused on animal welfare and conservation. A perfect spot for young families!

We had a brilliant day at Howletts with the whole family! The kids absolutely loved it, there was so much to see and do. There’s a great variety of animals, including Gorillas, tigers, lions, and the highlight for us: the Elephants!
The park wasn’t too busy, which made it even more enjoyable, no long queues or overcrowded areas. The layout makes it easy to explore, and we had plenty of space to take our time and really enjoy the animals.
The children especially loved the play area , a great spot to burn off some energy and take a break.
All in all, a great day out that we’d highly recommend to other families. We’ll definitely be back. 🦁🐘🦍
Bernard Bilira month agoIt's an amazing place for families with kids. They have an open space and a good playground too. You can either bring your food or eat from the cafe. Either way works fine. Highly recommended.Related categories
