Description

The Cișmigiu Gardens is the oldest park in Bucharest, established in 1847. The charming green space surrounds an artificial lake, offering an oasis of calm in the heart of the Romanian capital.

The park is famous for the Writers' Circle, with busts of famous Romanian writers, and the Roman Circle, a monument dedicated to French soldiers killed in World War II. In summer you can rent a boat and swim on the lake, and in winter you can skate on the frozen surface.

The gardens are delightful with lush vegetation, winding paths and the Rose Garden. It's the perfect place for a relaxing stroll, a picnic or a break from the hustle and bustle of the city.
