Affenberg Salem

Affenberg Salem is a unique park where nearly 200 Berber macaques live freely in a 20-acre forest area. With no trellises or separation ditches, you can observe these endangered animals up close.

The park also offers the largest colony of free-flying storks in southern Germany and a herd of deer. For the adventurous, there is a 250-meter 'treewalk' leading through the treetops at heights of up to 12 meters.

Children will be delighted by an interactive outdoor game with a mobile app and a playground, while adults can relax in the cozy beer garden.
