Agenskalns Market

Āgenskalns Market is the oldest market on the left bank of the Daugava River in Riga, operating since 1898. This architectural gem in the rational Art Nouveau style was designed by Reinhold Schmaeling and completed in 1923.

After a major renovation in 2022, the market combines historic charm with modern amenities. On the first floor you'll find fresh produce from local farmers, while upstairs you can enjoy food in bars and cafes.
