The second day of our Lviv adventure will start with a visit to the green corners of the city. The first point on the map is Shevchenko Grove Park, also known as the Museum of Folk Architecture and Rural Life. This place is located at 1 Chernecha Hora Street, a bit out of the way of the city center, but you can easily reach it by bus or cab. The park is located in the southern part of the city, easily accessible by streetcar or bus from the center. Admission to the park is free, and it is open all day. In the summer the park is bustling with concerts and cultural events. It is also a great place for joggers and lovers of other outdoor activities.

At the end of the day, we suggest a visit to the Royal Arsenal, located at 13 Pidvalna St. This is a 17th century Renaissance building that once served as an armory and today houses a museum. The arsenal is open every day except Mondays, and an entrance ticket costs about UAH 50 (as of 2023). In the museum you will see an impressive collection of weapons and armor from different eras. This place will especially appeal to lovers of military history.

All of these places are accessible to families with children, but be sure to adjust the pace of the tour to the capabilities of the little ones. The museum is located in a historic brewery building and presents the history of brewing in Lviv. During the tour you will learn about the beer production process, see old brewing equipment and learn many interesting facts about the beer drinking culture of the region. At the end of the tour you'll be treated to the aforementioned tasting in a cozy bar on the top floor. This is a great place to start your evening in Lviv.

After visiting the museum, take a stroll through the city center to discover charming cafes and restaurants. Lviv is famous for its coffee and chocolate, so be sure to visit one of the many cafes around Market Square. You can also try traditional Ukrainian dishes at one of the restaurants specializing in regional cuisine.

For those who want even more non-obvious attractions, we recommend a visit to one of Lviv's unusual museums. Although not mentioned in our initial list, places such as the Pharmacy Museum and the Museum of Beer-Lembergensis are worth mentioning. Both are located in the city center and offer a unique look at Lviv's history through the lens of pharmacy and brewing.

At the end of the day and the entire weekend, we suggest returning to the center and walking around in the evening. Lviv after dark has a unique atmosphere, and the illuminated monuments look really impressive. You can end the day in one of the cozy restaurants on the Market Square, enjoying local specialties and reminiscing about all the amazing places you managed to discover during this intensive weekend.

Remember that Lviv is a city that is best explored on foot. Most of the attractions are located in the center or in close proximity, so comfortable shoes are a must.
