Ras Al Khor Wildlife Sanctuary

Ras Al Khor Wildlife Sanctuary is a unique wildlife oasis in the heart of bustling Dubai.

This 6.2-kilometer protected area is home to some 266 species of fauna and 47 species of flora. A special attraction are the pink flamingos, which can be admired from specially prepared observation points.

Diverse ecosystems including mangroves, mudflats, lagoons and reed beds create ideal conditions for birdwatchers - as many as 67 different species can be seen here. Admission is free, making this place accessible to all seekers of contact with nature.
