المشغولات الحرفية اليدوية النسائية (Women's Handicraft Center) is a unique place where traditional Emirati art comes to life.

It is a government initiative to preserve local heritage through traditional handicraft techniques. Here you can admire masterful women's products such as embroidered designs, woven carpets and date palm leaf baskets.

Some of the crafts on display, such as saddu weaving, are on UNESCO's Intangible Cultural Heritage list. You can also get a simple henna pattern on your hands on site, which will last about two weeks.
