Description

The Royal Castle in Bedzin is a fascinating monument dating back to the 14th century, built during the reign of Casimir the Great. This Gothic building with a distinctive cylindrical tower houses the Zagłębie Museum with a rich collection of armaments from the Middle Ages to World War II.

The castle is shrouded in legends, including the tale of the devil Borut, who allegedly cursed the waters of the Black Przemsza River, turning them black. The site is part of the Trail of the Eagles' Nests, linking the castles of Casimir the Great.

For lovers of history and architecture, it's a real treat - the upper floors offer a picturesque view of the area.
