Long Acre

Long Acre is a historic street in the heart of London's Covent Garden that was the center of the carriage industry for more than 200 years. The site has a rich history dating back to Henry VIII, who acquired the area.

In the past, it was home to famous pubs such as The Black Horse Inn (later renamed The White Horse), where carriage manufacturers and other notable personalities met. Also unique was the Mug House Club, where gentlemen met over a beer, each with their individual pint, enjoying harp music and singing together.
