Water of Leith

Water of Leith is a scenic 22-kilometer walking and cycling path through Edinburgh. It connects Balerno in the south with Leith in the north, offering a charming route full of natural beauty and cultural attractions.

Along the route you can admire art installations, including Anthony Gormley's famous '6 Times' - six realistic figures placed along the river. The path leads past historic sites such as the Scottish National Gallery of Modern Art, Stock Bridge and the charming Dean Village.

It's ideal for nature lovers, art enthusiasts and families with children. It takes about 3.5 hours to walk the entire route, but it can be explored in stages.
