Description
Swansea Vale Nature Reserve is one of the last remaining wetland areas in the Swansea region. This unique ecosystem offers a mosaic of habitats, including marsh, meadow, scrub and grassland that support a variety of plant and animal species.
The reserve is a paradise for wildlife enthusiasts - rare orchids and otters can be spotted here. An accessible path suitable for wheelchairs and baby carriages allows exploration of the southern part of the reserve.
As a Site of Nature Conservation Importance (SINC 211), it is an excellent place to take an educational walk and learn about the value of wetland ecosystems.
