Rye Art Gallery

Rye Art Gallery is a unique art gallery housed in a historic 18th century building. While the facade may not look inviting, the interior offers a fascinating mix of old and new art.

The gallery has a permanent collection of more than 460 works, including paintings, prints, drawings, photographs and sculptures from the 19th and 20th centuries. The lower floor has a distinct 'artisan' character, while the upper floors showcase more traditional painting and sculpture.

The 'Artist in Focus' program regularly highlights the work of specific artists, showcasing both established artists and local favorites.
