Sentiero del Ponale

Sentiero del Ponale is a scenic hiking trail in the north of Lake Garda, Italy. Originally built in the 19th century as a road connecting Lake Garda to the Ledro Valley, it is now a popular route for hikers and cyclists.

The trail offers spectacular views of the lake and surrounding mountains, leading through tunnels carved into the rock. Along the way, visitors can admire the remains of the 1860 Austro-Hungarian fortifications and stop at the Belvedere lookout point.
