Monte Lussari Sanctuary

Monte Lussari Sanctuary is a magical place at 1789 meters above sea level in the Julian Alps, where history meets nature.

The sanctuary, dating back to the 14th century, attracts pilgrims from Italy, Slovenia and Austria, offering unforgettable views of the surrounding peaks.

In winter, the place turns into a popular ski resort with the Di Prampero slope for experienced skiers and lighted slopes for night skiing. In summer, take a hike along the Pilgrim's Path, which winds through the Tarvisio Forest.

At the summit, cozy restaurants await, serving local dishes combining Italian, Austrian and Slovenian cuisine.
