Description
Parco Naturale Regionale Isola di Sant'Andrea e litorale di Punta Pizzo is a charming natural park located in the southern part of the Salento Peninsula in Puglia.
It's a nature lover's paradise, offering a variety of ecosystems - from rocky coastlines to salt meadows and wetlands. The park is famous for its rare species of Mediterranean gull (Larus audouinii) and rich vegetation, including orchids and rare leguminous shrubs.
You can hike six different trails here, enjoying the scenic beaches and crystal clear water. The place has also been the set of several Italian productions, which adds to its cultural charm.
