Pico de la Cruz

Pico de la Cruz is a unique viewpoint located in the subalpine zone of the island of La Palma, in the Caldera de Taburiente National Park.

This spot offers breathtaking views of the ocean and surrounding islands, including Tenerife, El Hierro and La Gomera. The GR-131 trail, known as 'El Bastón,' passes through different levels of vegetation, from sea level to the subalpine zone, presenting unique landscapes and diverse flora and fauna.

An additional attraction is its proximity to one of the world's best astronomical research centers, the Roque de los Muchachos Observatory, making it an ideal destination for nature, hiking and astronomy enthusiasts.
