Viewing point Storvatnet is a magical place in Lofoten, offering breathtaking views of a crystal clear lake surrounded by majestic mountains.
It's a photographer's paradise, especially during the golden hour, when exceptional light highlights the beauty of the landscape. In winter, the lake freezes over, creating spectacular ice patterns that attract nature lovers.
The spot is ideal for a picnic, bird watching (including whooper swans) or a short walk around the lake. The viewpoint makes an excellent stop while exploring the scenic Lofoten.

Michele Di Cello3 years agoThe view of the lake and the surrounding landscape is not bad, although it is not among those that remain indelible, even if appreciable. The favorable point is the possibility of easily stopping along the road in a small rest area, but more interesting is the panoramic point a short distance away, right on the top of the hill where the road passes and from which you can see a more fascinating landscape, including the lake.
