Staten Island Zoo

Staten Island Zoo is a compact 8-acre urban zoo that impresses with its variety of animals. It is famous for its impressive collection of reptiles, including the largest collection of rattlesnakes and a green anaconda weighing more than 70 pounds.

The zoo is home to the critically endangered Amur leopard and the famous Staten Island Chuck the marmot, which serves as the official meteorologist for Groundhog Day in New York City.
