Makiki Valley Loop Trail

Makiki Valley Loop Trail is a scenic trekking route in Hawaii that takes you through a lush, enchanted forest full of ferns and vines. Spectacular views of Diamond Head and Honolulu await you on the 5-kilometer trail with a 300-meter ascent.

Halfway through the hike you can admire a small waterfall, and going further you will come across the Kanealole streams. The trail is well-marked and makes for a great cardio workout, although it can be slippery and muddy after rain.
