Bright Angel Trailhead

Bright Angel Trailhead is one of the most iconic trails in Grand Canyon National Park. This 12.2-mile trail offers breathtaking views of the colorful canyon walls and the distant blue ribbon of the Colorado River.

The trail takes you through billions of years of geologic history, traversing 4,500 feet of elevation difference. Along the way you'll find several rest areas with access to drinking water and shade.
