Description
Badwater Basin is the lowest point in North America, located 86 meters below sea level in Death Valley National Park.
This fascinating place is characterized by extensive geometric salt formations that create amazing patterns on the surface of the desert. Despite the apparent lack of life, the area is inhabited by unique organisms adapted to the extreme conditions.
Walking along the wooden platform and salt plains, visitors can enjoy breathtaking views of the surrounding mountains, including the remote Telescope Peak rising to 3368 meters.
