Mellon Park

Mellon Park is a historic city park on the former estate of industrialist Richard Beatty Mellon, offering a unique combination of art, history, and nature.

The heart of the park is the famous Elizabethan-style Walled Garden with themed gardens - Shakespeare Garden with a bust of the poet and plants from his works, Silver Garden, and Knot Garden. The restored 14-foot stone fountain with figurines of children and animals delights with its details.

At night, the park is transformed into a magical place thanks to the Ann Katharine Seamans Memorial installation - black medallions with the names of stars and lights in the grass activate underfoot, recreating the night sky.
